Actually, I believe it more likely that there are a lot more qualified
people who want to work in museums than there are qualified (or even
unqualified) people who want to teach. I know that in our local school
district, they are looking at a projected 75% turnover in the teaching
force over the next eight years. No one knows where they will come from. We
get piles of resumes for our museum job listings.
