The SVP Outreach Committee began collecting information on opportunities
for amateur work in vertebrate paleontology a few years ago. We'd like to
get this out, but in reviewing the material I am afraid that some of it
is out of date. So we're asking for your help.

This will be a brochure-style compilation of amateur training/
certification programs, field programs, and the like. The idea is to get
the word out to anyone interested that there are opportunities to get
involved in good responsible paleontology work in most areas and at all
levels.

We need the following information:
*Name and affiliation of respondent
*Description of program(s) offered
*Seasonality (year-round? summer only? etc?)
*Costs (if any)
*Type of training offered
*Type of certification offered (if any)
*Field programs and opportunities
*Lab programs and opportunities
*Needs of the institution
*Contact information

Please respond off-list. Many thanks!

Cheers, Sally Shelton
