This discussion seems to be drifting into pro sports salaries. Those in
the History parts of our "Heritage" profession will remember that the
players did not always get the benefit of their ability to make money
for the owners. Sure there were stars and "piracy" making a few well
off, but big salaries didn't happen until some of them made some noise,
got some agents capable of advocating their interests, and, ultimately,
unionized.
