>BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:  Assumes overall administrative

>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Has been a succesful project manager for a
complex project, has experience producing financial models, budget tracking
systems, timelines and proformas for a variety of projects,  Has a proven
track record for bringing projects in on time and on or under budget.  Has
supervisory experience in museums or other relevant educational
not-for-profit communities with proven track record of excellence.  Has
excellent references in regard to working well under pressure with others in
all levels of project.

>Cranbrook Institute of Science is an ongoing science museum with a 60 year
history of exhibitions and educational programs.  It is part of the
Cranbrook Educational Community on a 300 acre campus designed by Eliel
Saarinen in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  A new Science Institute building designed
by Stephen Holl is scheduled to open, in part, in June 1999.
