i am an intern with the Science Center of Connecticut and i need to know
what would
be best for a 2400 sq. foot hall that has exhibits that change once every
three months. traffic is approx. 80,000 visitors/year. the floor has to
be durable enough to withstand the forklifts that are used to transport the
exhibits into and out of the exhibit hall. presently, the floor has vinyl
tiles fixed to the concrete slab below and they are beginning to chip.
carpet or tiling? what type of carpet or tiling would be best?

if anyone has had the same or a similar problem, advice would be greatly
appreciated.
