First, I want to thank everyone that responded to my first posting --
great response! But, I realized that I should have been a little more
specific in my question, so here goes round 2:

I know there are several large international databases and many more
smaller ones, but do you find them useful?

Would it be more convenient to have one? (of course this raises the
question of who would run it)

Do you find that the current system too piecemeal for your piece of mind?

What are your present procedures for researching the works that come to
you?

I will probably have more questions for the group as my paper develops --
I certainly appreciate your imput.
