Do you mean a horizontal line? On p. 421 of Jansen's (2nd ed., 6th
printing, Jan 1982) there is a horizontal line segment in the U/L quadrant
from the left frame to a point 1/3 of the way between the l. frame and the
hair. (We never forget how to word condition reports, do we??)
It's a b/w photo, so it loses a bit in printing, nevertheless, I don't see
a vertical line anywhere. I can't speculate the nature of the mark from
looking at a photo.
