DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR . The Vermont Historical Society (research
library, museum, publications, education program) seeks an individual
to plan and implement all facets of fundraising (including membership;
annual giving; identification and solicitation of major gift
prospects--individuals, foundations, corporations; and grant writing)
as well as to formulate basic public relations strategies.
Qualifications: Five years of fundraising experience necessary.
Background in American history desirable. Excellent writing and
communications skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks.  Send
