Museums which use AACRII

I would like to hear from museums which follow AACRII for cataloging their artifacts. Is
there a reason why AACRII has not been more readily adopted? Please let me know if you
know of any weaknesses or deficiencies. I am designing a collection management
system for the Museum of Printing History and want to know before I get in too
deep. Thank you.
