The Homestead Museum recently received an offer for two trunks of
late-19th century American woodworking tools (shaping planes, augers,
saws) used in furniture making. They are outside our collections scope,
however, the donor asked if we could help find a suitable home for
them. If you are interested in acquiring these tools for your museum or
educational institution, please contact me off-list.
