Hi! I have two questions for the list I hope someone can answer.

1. Could someone please tell me what the address, phone #, e-mail #, and
contact is for the City of London (England) Archives (or the archives
which would have information on City of London Mayors' Gifts)?

I am trying to track down information on a gift presented from the Mayor of
London to the Mayor of Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) in the early 1960s so that
I can begin to attach a value to it for insurance purposes. I am
working in an archives this summer and finding the values of the Mayors'
Gifts is one of my duties.

2. Does anyone have any experience with or know anything about any good
heritage-type or theme computer games that preschool to 12-year old
children could play with? This is question from an Ontario, Canada
heritage-type museum that wants to combine the old with the new in terms
of setting up a hands-on education area. Heritage games could include
checkers, snakes and ladders etc. and themes could involve early settlers,
1800s activities etc. I don't know what is out there so any help or
suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

Thank you for your help. Please respond to me directly.

Carol (balancing-between-archives-and-museums) Hopp
