I couldn't agree with you more. I subscribe to several mailing lists and have
to filter out the ones i don't need and the topic line is critical.  A
meaningful subject line is more than just the subject.  "Roommate at AAM"
doesn't tell me if you are seeking or offering. "Job Posting" doesn't tell me
if the job is for janitor or director.  "Job Posting: Alaska; janitor " might
save all of us a great deal of time.

Just a thought.
