And what about The Official Museum Directory?

After publication costs, does AAM really make that much money from sales
of the OMD?

It seems that AAM has the unique opportunity to provide the PUBLIC with
an all inclusive listing of U.S. museums, with the latest statistics,
etc.

Besides the obvious opposition of the publisher, are there other reasons
why the OMD isn't available free online?
