Maritime Curator: Seattle's Museum of History and Industry seeks a
maritime curator to do public program and collections management work.
Public program duties include the development of exhibits, education
programs and publications on maritime themes. Collections duties include
the evaluation, acquisition, registration, documentation, preservation,
storage and deaccession of collections. This curatorship is a joint
project of the museum and the Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society.
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of maritime history and culture,
experience with implementing interpretive programs and basic knowledge of
collections care. Salary and benefits competitive in Pacific Northwest
