Craig, Hi! I think that in the collection at Chinqua-Penn Plantation,
Reidsville, NC, (a 1920's mansion and grounds) there were several
creches, with figures, critters, etc. of European origin and from a
variety of periods and made of different materials. I'm not there now
so I don't know what's been done with them (analytically). Linn
