In regard to salary histories, I feel it never hurts to exagerate a
little.  When a potential employer asks for an expected salary or salary
requirements, I have found the best strategy is to put "Negotiable".

Also, never fail to compare the costs of living if you are relocating to a
new area.  I found a good web site for this, but unfortunately, don't have
the address.  If you use a search engine for "cost of living" you should
find it.
