COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
International Education Foundation seeks Communications Officer to assume
responsibility for publications, public/press relations, production of the
annual report and quarterly newsletter, and speeches for the President; to
work with the President to establish policies and practices which develop
and maintain the image and reputation of the Foundation; to be responsible
for organizing events and general outreach; and to maintain grantee networks
and coordinate with the Program Officer in managing all aspects of the
grantmaking process for the Communication and Public Opinion program.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.  Fluency in Japanese a
plus.  Salary commensurate with experience.

DIRECTOR, RESEARCH
NYC foundation, with a focus on science and engineering education, seeks
world-class scholar to conduct and publish studies for the academic,
industry and government communities.  The research director develops and
manages long-term research agenda and the critical analyses of trends in
engineering and science enrollment, graduation, retention, employment and
career advancement; determines policy implications and disseminates results.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in one of the social sciences; a Ph.D. in a
natural science or engineering with social science research experience will
be considered); demonstrated record of achievement in research and
successful grant proposal preparation; excellent written and oral
communications; and effective team leadership and management skills.

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
NYC museum seeks Director of Education with extensive experience in program
development, administration and staff supervision.  Responsible for
educational programs including tours and workshops, community school
programs, artist-in-residence and internship programs, docent and volunteer
programs, lectures, etc.  Assist in preparation of funding proposals and
budgets.  Supervise education staff, interns and volunteers.

permanent collection; plan and implement temporary exhibitions; develop
educational programs and materials.  M.A. in art history and museum

EXHIBITION ASSISTANT
Downtown Non-Profit Organization dedicated to organizing and circulating
traveling exhibitions of contemporary art seeks Exhibition Assistant to
assist with the preparation and monitoring of loan forms, correspondence
with lenders, maintenance of checklists, visuals, and artist files,
coordination of production of exhibition catalogues, brochures, and other
didactic materials for exhibitions, and closing an exhibition tour, as well
as supervising exhibition interns.  Salary commensurate with experience.  
 
CURATORIAL ASSISTANT
Major New York Museum seeks Curatorial Assistant to provide exhibition
support. Excellent research skills and a knowledge of photography required.
One (1) month project.  Salary commensurate with experience.

COLLECTION MANAGER
Major New York City Museum seeks Collection Manager to manage three archives
of 50,000 photographs.  Previous archival experience, photography
background, and excellent camera skills required.  $25,000 plus benefits.

positions in museums, galleries and other arts-related organizations.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/MARKETING ASSOCIATE

to keep firm visible during projects, including assisting with competition

Major New York Museum seeks Executive Assistant to the Associate Director
for External Affairs to coordinate daily schedule, meetings and travel
arrangements; screen calls and daily mail; compose, type, and proofread
outgoing correspondence and other material; prepare for Trustee, staff, and
other development and marketing meetings, including notifying participants,
arranging materials as requested, and researching material when necessary;
interface on a regular basis with Museum constituencies, volunteers, and
public; organizing and maintaining all record and filing systems; and other
duties as required.  Salary commensurate with experience.
