Actually there are many of us (at least me) who would be interested in
hearing about this topic. I have an MA in Museum Studies and am
wondering if it would be better to take additional coursework in
conservation to expand my resume and hopefully improve my career
options. Could answers be posted to the list or are you (Heidi) willing to
provide a summary of the responses.

Thanks much!

Fellow Museum-L'ers
I am interested in conservation and would like to know what I would
need to do
to become a conservator. What education is needed? What programs
are
available? Is there a need for conservators? What type of pay do they
receive? Are jobs available?

Please respond off list.

Thanks in advance for your information
