Hi all -

My offer to host a Monday, March 17 reception for museum-l and musweb-l
attendees to the Museums the and Web Conference has drawn a number of
enthusiastic responses.

However, the good people organizing the conference aren't so happy
(understandably) that their Monday night exhibitor's reception would have
to compete with my offer. They'd be a whole lot happier if we did it
Sunday night and have even put an offer of bus transportation from the Omni
to Pasadena on the table.

Sunday is fine with me. I need to hear from all who think they can come
Sunday, say 6 to 8 pm, in order to know that the numbers make the whole
effort worthwhile (sorry, also need to hear again from the six who have
already said yes to Monday).

By the way, local museum-l and musweb-l subscribers who are not going to
attend the conference are also invited (not sure about the drinks with
little umbrellas, Hans, but there'll be plenty of beer and wine). Let's
have a party!

rsvp to the list or to [log in to unmask] .
