Rusty:  You really should visit the Carnegie Museum of Natural History's
Hillman Hall of Gems and Minerals (one of the most beautiful, not as large as
some others, but the display people did an incredible job) and Benedum Hall
of Geology.  I've travelled to other museums to compare and yes I'm biased, but
they are both great examples of what museums can do to engage the public.  Good
luck on your project-look me up if you make it to Pittsburgh. Lenore
