The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, a part of the Texas A&M
University System, invites applications for the position of
Archeologist for Texas's largest state-agency museum.  Accredited by
the AAM, the Museum is located in Canyon, TX.  The Archeologist
curates the archeological, paleontological, geological and biological
collections of the Museum and directs the Museum's compliance with
provisions of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation
Act of 1990.  Requirements:  advanced degree and three to five years
of Southern Plains archeological experience.  Museum-related
experience helpful, and good verbal and written communication skills
essential.  Salary range: $25,000 - $30,000.
