Here at the Science Museum of Minnesota we're about to undertake some major
audience research about our visitors and our community. We've contracted
with Jeff Hayward and Marilyn Rothenberg of People, Places and Design to do
this research with us.

One of our audiences which we seem to know relatively little about is
adults. Has anyone else ever done any research specifically on the adult
audience? I'm especially looking for both methodologies and results of
research on adults' expectations of museum visits, their definitions of an
"educational experience" (i.e what does the label "educational" mean to
people when they use it to describe a museum visit), and what they value
about their leisure time.

Thanks in advance.
