If you are looking for lists of museum Web sites, take a look at the
International Council of Museums (ICOM) site at
http://www.chin.gc.ca/icom. From this page, you can access the
"Virtual Library Museums Pages" where you will find links to museums
from all over the world. The Canadian Heritage Information Network
(CHIN) is participating in this effort by maintaining the list of
"Museums in Canada"(follow the "Canada" link) at this site.

You may also be interested to know that CHIN has recently developed
and launched the Guide to Canadian Museums and Galleries. This is a
searchable database which contains comprehensive information on
museums across Canada, their collections, location, services,
location, services, events, as well as links to the museums' own Web
pages. The Guide can be accessed at the CHIN Web site,
     http://www.chin.gc.ca.
