Perhaps because of her recent (current?) European tour more than one of
the European music TV channels have been running (probably quite often, as
I'm a very infrequent viewer of them!) a recent video by Sheryl Crow of
her song "If it makes you happy". Sheryl Crow is I believe from the
Mid-West - Minnesota?

What is particularly interesting is that the main setting for the video is
a natural history museum with a range of life-size large mammal dioramas -
though the expression on the singer's face seems to suggest that her
museum visit failed to make HER happy, despite the song title.

Does anyone know which museum was used in the video, and in relation to
recent discussions on the List about the use of museums for commercial
events etc. is there any information on the practical and commercial
arrangements involved in filming it? One possible clue is the appearance
at one point of what seems to be a Canadian "mountie" - but perhaps that
is not to be taken too literally in quite a long video which is, like so
many of its type, fairly surreal, if not abstract, for much of the time.
