We are in the development stage of a major exhibition on early
exploration of the North Pacific and expect that we will want to travel
this exhibition when the time comes (post 2000). We are curious to know
how those of you who do this regularly set exhibition fees. Is there
some rule of thumb to follow - like "rent equals 1% of purchase price"
that you use when you rent out houses. If an exhibit costs $750,000 and
fills 5,000 square feet, it should rent for WHAT? We have traveled 4
exhibitions outside the state and always struggle with this number.
