----------
some brief answers to your questions:
1. List 3 aspects/elements/things that *you* would consider in
defining quality in museum exhibitions generally. (I am interested
in
what you *personally* think)
quality exhibitions - engage the interest of the visitor
- the visitor leaves altered in some way - enriched, enthused,
concerned,
questioning, entertained, educated....
- allows them to do this in an environment that is comfortable for the
visitor and
appropriate for the objects.
2. What is your area of work (eg design, education, evaluation,
conservation, curatorial, etc)?
collection manager
3. Has your institution done any work in this area?
we are currrently doing front end evaluation for the programs for our
new
museum but I'm not sure what else
If there is sufficient interest then I will post the results (but
not
until after January as we'll be conducting the same questionnaire
with
our visitors).
Thanks in advance!
