I am a history exhibits curator and designer, and have been trying to
integrate social history into my development of exhibits. I am currently
designing the core exhibits for the Fort Lauderdale Historical Museum in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I just read an interesting book called Museums
of Influence, published in 1987 by Cambridge University Press (can't
remember author). There is quite a bit in there about Social History in
museums. In particular, in the Opel Museum in Russelsheim, Germany. If you
