Try contacting THE FOUNDATION CENTER (http://fdncenter.org)  I know
they offer some lower cost 1-2 day workshops which I hear are
excellent.

Does anyone have experience with the Grantsmanship Center and their
5 day courses in grants writing, research and methods?  Seem to be a
bit high in tuition, but could be worth it?

Any other suggestions for gaing grants writing experience or how to
narrow down appropriate sources?
