The California State Railroad Museum has received a grant to establish an
oral history archives in the Museum's Library.  The first phase of the
project consists of 20 interviews of former employees of the Southern
Pacific Railroad's Sacramento Shops.

Are there any Museums working on similar projects?  How have other Museum's
established Oral History Centers?  Where is the funding base?  The CA State
Railroad Museum would like the Oral Histories to be on-going.  Any advice,
suggestions, models would be very helpful!
