Hi,
I'd like to correct one error you made in the above and lead you to a
publication that you may find of use in your work.  First: Corbis is not a
division of Microsoft, it is entirely independent of Microsoft and is owned
entirely, privately by Bill Gates.

Second: As editor of a special edition of the journal Visual Resources
dedicated to issues concerning the copyright and fair use of images, I'd
like to direct you to an announcement of its publication, where you will
find in the table of contents one article on Corbis by the head of its
legal affairs division, plus othere articles of note.  For the above
