The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training posts job
listings on its Internet gopher and Web sites. The postings are not
confined to museum jobs, but the museum world is well represented. The
gopher address is

        gopher://gopher.ncptt.nps.gov

Select the option/folder titled
"Jobs,Conferences,Training,Grants,Fellowhsips,Internships,etc."

Then select the option/folder titled "Positions"

The Web address is

        http://www.cr.nps.gov/ncptt/

Click on "Main Menu NCPTT Gopher" and then select the choices listed above.

Subject: Job Listings

Given the high cost ($1.25-$2.40 per word) of ads in AVISO it's
not surprising that many jobs - and probably most entry level ones -
are not listed there. Regional newsletters are cheaper, but harder
to get hold of out of region. Seems like a good idea for a web site
to me...
