For some purposes here and in travel/tourism organizations, such as to do
economic impact analyses, a tourist is someone who travels 100 miles or
more to reach us and may well make an overnight stay in our town ... we
track this with zip code analyses...

All tourists who enter are visitors, but not all visitors are tourists.
