The Museum Education Roundtable, a nonprofit educational corporation,
serving as a forum for communication among professionals in the field,
kicks off its 1996-97 Program Calendar with:

MER ROUNDTABLE #1-- The National Digital Library: Internet Resources for
the Public

Are you looking for information about motion pictures?  Trying to
research 19thc. daguerreotypes?  The information you need is just a few
keystrokes away.  Designed as a guide for Internet novices, Roundtable
Session #1 introduces participants to basic Internet functions and search
programs using the National Digital Library.  Explore the library's
on-line collections, learn how these collections are being adapted for
school programming (K-12), and collect tips for finding the information
you need for research and education purposes.  Program Speaker: Martha
Dexter, Project Manager, National Digital Library.
