In responding to a job position, I always presented a well, polished
cover letter and no more than a two page resume. The cover letter
basically stated, I was the person for the position. The resume
was written for that job. I used words they used and wanted, and
refined the resume to fit their job on all levels. Basically, I
was selling myself, and that is what the resume and cover letter is
all about. It is going to be the only way to get your name and
qualification in front of them -- so put it there with all your
skills, and say you want the job -- or they don't want you.

A great book I used for resumes, etc. is by Yana Parker -- entitled,
THE RESUME CATALOG: 200 DAMN GOOD EXAMPLES. Use the examples to adapt
to your experience and the position.
