Barbara...you might begin with Lucy R. Lippard's "A Different War: Vietnam
in Art" and her "Mixed Blessings." There you may find other references. Also
I'd check the New Museum's "The Decade Show" and L.A. MoCA's "Helter
Skelter." Good luck!
