The short answer is "yes."  Basically, a not-for-profit -- more
specifically, a charity -- has to be careful not to pay a manager more
than the market would bear, and it can't make deals by which insiders
receive assets at less than market value, but there isn't any restriction
on giving somebody a little extra at the end of the year and calling it a
bonus.  If anyone is interested I can refer them to the experts on this,
among whom I am emphatically not one.
