This exhibition was organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (17
febr. - 12 may 1991) and also shown at the Art Institute of Chicago (22 june
- 8 sept. 1991), at the International Gallery of the Smithsonian
Institution, Washington (9 okt. 1991 - 12 jan. 1992), and at the Alte
Museum, Berlin (4 march - 31 may 1992). A very important catalogue was
published (in English and German), edited by the exhibition curator
Stephanie Barron (German edition: ISBN 3-7774-5880-5).
