I like to think that centralized lists of museum web sites have already
been created...

Please visit our list of museum web sites. It is designed in such a way
that the community can add links to their sites as well as descriptions,
email contacts and a variety of other information. It is also fully
searcheable.

It is not the only such site. In addition to our site, please visit the
following:

World Wide Arts Resources
World Wide Web (WWW) Virtual Library

You can get the url's off of our site...

The Guide to Museums and Cultural Resources at
http://www.lam.mus.ca.us/webmuseums

This site is designed to accomodate a variety of information on all sorts
of cultural institutions. If you are associated with a web site, please
add your site to the data base. It just takes a minute and your site is
instantly listed. The information is listed in such a way that you can
copy the screen text to print out a list of resources and their urls.

I am also open to adding additional 'catagories' of information.
