Once again I turn to you, the devoted readers of museum-l, to answer a dumb
question. I am looking for information on Carl Betz, glassworker. I've
exhausted library and web resources; guess he just isn't famous enough! The
glass work in question is clear bubbled glass, vaguely coral-like in
structure, and inserted into bases made of heavy dark cork (kind of like
the stuff we hippie-types all paneled our walls with in the 70s). My only
clue is the scrap of paper with them that says "5 pieces Carl Betz glass."
Any info would be appreciated. Contact me off list if this seems too
particular for general distribution.
