Hi Natasha,
The American Association of Museum's Professional Standing
Committee on Media & Technology devotes itself to developing programs, and
other material which address these issues. For membership info. contact
Judith Robins, 600 Red Lion Rd., U-12, Philadelphia, PA 95115. Another AAM
Professional Standing Committee, NAME, also provides an excellent
newsletter with an exhibition focus. They also provide a magazine entitled
Exhibit Builder. Contact AAM at 202-289-1818 for current names and phone
numbers of contact people. Museum News has good articles on technology and
exhibition issues. Museum Computer Network produces a journal called
Spectra, which is filled with information on museums/technology and related
ideas. For more info on MCN please call 301-585-4413. Local museum
personnel also may be able to provide you with direction. Your friendly
university reference librarian may also help by pointing you in the
direction of Arts Index, and other research tools.
Good luck in your continued search.
