DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING

        Orange County's largest museum, The Bowers Museum of Cultural
Art, (AAM accredited) with a 3.5 million dollar annual buget, is seeking
a fundraising professional with at least five years of demonstrated
experience as a director or senior level member of a fundraising campaign
to direct its annual giving campaign.  Experience coordinating
upper-level, individual giving preffered.  Excellent written and oral
presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work with a
wide variety of people and situaltions.  Ability to identify, research,
and solicit local and national funders, write and edit grant proposals
and other solicitation materials.  Responsible for planning, budgeting,
Board Committee preparation, campaign reporting and analysis, and special
fundraising events.  Reports to Museum President.  Salary commensurate
