John.

As I'm sure you know, I asked Lauren Lantos to write something about the
AAM website for Spectra - I was looking for an article that would inform
Museum Computer Network members about theimplementation and existence of
AAM's site and other planned online activities. I was hoping for something
a bit more interesting than a press release (which we don't put in Spectra)
and something that would humanize AAM for museum professionals that might
think it is a rich organization that was just lazy about getting on the
net. If readers understood that there is a bootstrap element with respect
to AAM coming online they might have more interest/sympathy - it might even
improve membership!

Please reconsider allowing Lauren to write a short piece on AAM's
electronic endeavors. It is interesting to us!

I look forward to hearing from you!
