For those of us resident in the Southern Hemisphere, attendance at most
international conferences (which tend to occur in USA or Europe) is
impossible, because of the time and cost involved.  The organisers are to be
congratulated on making the "Carry on Collecting" conference virtually
accessible in this way.

I was interested to read (among many other things) Barbara Tomlinson's
abstract of her paper on the care and development of the flag collection at
the National  Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London, England.  I would be very
interested to see the full paper, and to discuss with Barbara work I have
been doing on flag collections in New Zealand museums, especially the Museum
of New Zealand.  Barbara, please send me your address (electronic or snail
variety)
