Hi Carol:
I've noticed your postings on Museum-L from time to time, and thought I
would send you an e-mail message, as I'm too busy or lazy to write.
Thank-you for your recent letter re the Medalta Pottery exhibition. I'm
sorry UBC had to turn it down. No, I have not yet found a West Coast
venue. The Vancouver Museum was on our original list, but turned it down
for varoius reasons, before I ever contacted you. Do you think it'd be
worth contacting them again? I also contacted teh Seattle Museum of
History and Industry, but they never responded at all.
Thanks as well for the brochures and questionnaires re your new certificate
program. I am not going to the CMA this year. I've been frantically busy
with partneriship I've been developing all year with the Alberta Children's
Museum, and we just opened "Puppetronics", an itneractive exhibition of
puppets and marionettes for children last weekend. We have all kinds of
programming planned seven days a week for the next three months, and
Medalta opens on August 17. I'm also busy with Phase II of our Youth
Curator Project.
Anyway, please keep in touch and let me know if you can recommend any other
West Coast venues.
Thanks for all your assistance. Feel free to e-mail me as well.
Sincerely,
Sandra Morton Weizman
