I had a caller this morning who has two bills of sales, dated 1839
(for an entire family) and 1840 (for an 18 year old man), from Lawrence
County, Alabama.
     Are these things valuable?
Is there an obvious collector I know nothing about?
     A dealer?
Advise? It sounds as if he'd like to sell them rather than donate
them somewhere.
Please respond to me direct, and I'll mail him any advise.
