Dear Colleagues,

We are looking into the possibility of organizing a collections committee
that would be responsible for approving acquisitions to and loans from the
permanent collections at the MIT Museum.  I would be interested in hearing
from anyone who has had experience in setting up such a committee and/or
working with one.  I would also like to hear from anyone who organized or
works with a similar committee for exhibitions or public programs.

Please contact me off-list as I have some specific questions (I'll be happy
to summarize for the list if there's interest).
