Yes, I'm certain that is who I was trying to remember. As I recall, he
amassed a diverse and interesting collection of artifacts from Cyprus.
all of which ended up in The Metropolitan Museum. Does anyone out there
know if there were any books published on his life, or where one might
find additional information about him?
