Family Programs Coordinator
A full-time position at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
Responsibilities:
The Family Programs Coordinator will plan exciting events for
enjoyable learning that include: special festivals, unique
events, lectures and presentations, commemorative days, sleep-
overs, behind-the-scenes tours, clubs and repackaging programming
that may already exist.
The Coordinator will establish a calendar of regular events,
analyze and monitor the success of events and programming.
The Coordinator reports to Communications/Marketing Manager and
coordinates and implements his/her responsibilities with all
appropriate staff, volunteers, outside groups, and associated
museum groups. He/she assists in marketing and promotion of
family programming.
Qualifications:
A marketing orientation, special events planning experience,
creativity, organizational skills, analytical skills, competitive
nature, ability to work with diverse individuals, an interest in
informal education and the natural sciences. An ability to stay
abreast of contemporary interests. Experience with working with
mass media. College degree in communications, marketing, public
relations, or related degree preferred.
