In response to Dave's post......I agree
.The Chicago Artists Coalition, a group of working artists in and around
Chicago, had an article on the subject of making new works of art last.
The author contacted the Chicago Area Conservation Group and interviewed
several conservators for the artcle.   It is an important aspect of art
creation that is generally ignored by modern art schools.
