There a some museums in Germany collecting TV`s and similiar products, of
a recent exhibition about this theme here I haven't heard.

Museum fuer Verkehr und Technik
Trebbiner Str.9
D-1000 Berlin 61, they are on the Web too.

Deutsches Museum
Museumsinsel 1

D-8000 Muenchen , also on the Web.

Deutsches Postmuseum
Schaumainkai 53
D-6000 Frankfurt 70

Deutsches Filmuseum
Schumainkai 41
D-6000 Frankfurt 41

There are surely a few more museums collecting these items, also a few
company museums (Siemens, Philips...)
regards
